The fruits are added to the feed hopper and are pressed by the screw. The squeezed juice flows into the juice container at the bottom through the filter, while the waste is discharged through the gap formed between the screw and the tapered part of the pressure regulating head. The size of the gap can be adjusted by the axial movement of the pressure regulating head.
When the hand wheel bearing seat is transferred clockwise by hand (from the slag trough of the equipment to the feed hopper), the pressure regulating head moves to the left, and the gap is reduced, otherwise the gap becomes larger. Changing the size of the gap, that is, adjusting the resistance of the slag discharge, can change the juice discharge rate. However, if the gap is too small, under strong extrusion, some slag particles will be squeezed out together with the juice through the filter. Although the juice output increases, the quality of the juice is relatively reduced. The size of the gap should be determined according to the specific process requirements of the user.
